Photographer's Notebook: 'Popeye' was discovered in a nursing home diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Every
morning he would dress the same and always request spinach with his meals.
In his own mind and in my camera lens, he was 'POPEYE'.
Student info:This portrait was taken with a Nikon F camera using Tri-X film and the light
was natural window light with an additional flash bounced off the white wall and
ceiling.
Photographer's Notebook: 'Christmas Tree Salesman'. This man was homeless. He made a few dollars selling Christmas Trees on the
side of the road during the holiday season. I have no idea where he obtained his
trees.
